SMWM / Perkins+Will Webblasts

I helped give birth to the SMWM email campaign way back in 2005. It continued after the firm joined Perkins+Will in 2008, and is still kicking today. The blasts are always most successful as a collaborative production, but I've got the chops to play any role: concept development, layout design, copy writing, HTML coding, mailing list maintenance, and/or project management. With an audience of over 6,000, these webblast elicit positive responses and inspire our audience to get in touch with us.

Adobe / Omniture Interview Video

What do you do when a prospective corporate client asks you to do a bit of design work -- but declines to give you information on program, culture, or site? Rather than attempt a specific solution, our response demonstrates the method of how we might come up with that solution -- a concept I was integral to developing. It wasn't particularly impressive that I made a compelling half-hour video, but that I did so in two days, under some of the most strenuous professional circumstances.

Rod Glover Splash

This visual artist wanted to bring to life the sense of motion hinted at in his work. Longtime friend and graphic designer Ines Hilde asked me to create a Flash-animated opening, based on a particular painting, for Rod's website. Each type of object was given its own "motion personality": spinning, flying, bouncing, rolling, or scooting in its own way. Put all together, the viewer is left with a glimpse of the kind of organized chaos normally only seen at a family reunion.
