SMWM / Perkins+Will Webblasts |
I helped give birth to the SMWM email campaign way back in 2005. It continued after the firm joined Perkins+Will in 2008, and is still kicking today. The blasts are always most successful as a collaborative production, but I've got the chops to play any role: concept development, layout design, copy writing, HTML coding, mailing list maintenance, and/or project management. With an audience of over 6,000, these webblast elicit positive responses and inspire our audience to get in touch with us. example #1 --> example #2 --> example #3 --> |

Adobe / Omniture Interview Video |
What do you do when a prospective corporate client asks you to do a bit of design work -- but declines to give you information on program, culture, or site? Rather than attempt a specific solution, our response demonstrates the method of how we might come up with that solution -- a concept I was integral to developing. It wasn't particularly impressive that I made a compelling half-hour video, but that I did so in two days, under some of the most strenuous professional circumstances. watch part 1 --> watch part 2 --> watch part 3 --> |

Rod Glover Splash |
This visual artist wanted to bring to life the sense of motion hinted at in his work. Longtime friend and graphic designer Ines Hilde asked me to create a Flash-animated opening, based on a particular painting, for Rod's website. Each type of object was given its own "motion personality": spinning, flying, bouncing, rolling, or scooting in its own way. Put all together, the viewer is left with a glimpse of the kind of organized chaos normally only seen at a family reunion. see the splash page --> |
